Vacation Chapter 1

Chapter 1

“So where do you want to go first?” Francis asked Dan, looking at her with a smile one which she did not returned.

“I want to drop my things off then try to go see some sights.” Dan informed the other as she leaned forward to tell the Taxi Driver her hotel information.

‘I wonder why she is being so difficult?  I just want to help her.’ Francis thought ‘Its not like I am hitting on her…’ Lost in his thoughts he did not notice that they were quickly approaching Dan’s hotel.

“Thank you.”Dan says snapping him out of his stupor. Francis also said his thanks before paying for the Taxi. As she frowned and looked at Francis with an angry look. “ I could have paid for my own Taxi.”

“I’m sorry, as a Gentleman I won’t allow a women to pay for anything I order myself.” Francis informes her, causing Dan to frown.

“If you say so.” Dan mumbles as they begin to walk inside of the Hotel, and made their way to the receptionist where they got their hotel rooms. “Why are you staying at a hotel if you live here in Paris?”

“It due to the fact that I live all the way on the other side of the city and traffic is  hectic in the moving, So I thought I save myself the hassle and rent a room here in the same hotel as you.” Francis explains as he begins to walk towards the elevator. “Luckily I had managed to get us room next to each other.”

"Why are you going to such an extent to be near me?" Dan asked Francis.

"Because a man never goes back on his word." Francis tells her with a smile before she moves to go inside the room.

'Who does that pervert think he getting at I will never fall for his tricks. " Dan says as she placed her suitcase near her bed before moving to close the curtains to her balcony and making sure it was locked before going to take a shower.

Once she was done she put on her pajamas before then moving to go into her bed before grabbing her laptop and booted up her laptop and pulled up her to do list while in France.

“Well I guess we can start off by going to get some delicious pastries, for breakfast then go for a walk through the city then going to see Effiel tower then going to get lunch at one of the many restaurants here then going back to the hotel.” Dan listed as she looked at the list once more before going to look at videos on Youtube.

She watched videos for about an hour before she closed her laptop and laid down and fell asleep. The next morning she was woken up by the sound of someone knocking on her room door. Groaning she got up from her bed and went over and answered the door.

“Who is it?” She asked as she looked at the peephole.

“Room service.” A busser said as he had a trolley full of breakfast food.

“I’m sorry, I did not order room service.” Dan told the busser.

“Yes, I know it is from the room next door they ordered it for you.” Busser informs her with a smile.

Dan sighed as she opened the door and took the trolley. “Thank you.” She said as the busser left the food with her.

“Man, what the hell is that man thinking?” Dan said as she thought of Francis but opened the top to see a variety of pastries on the pallet that she wanted to try. “How did he know that I…” Looking around she did not see any cameras anywhere. “This guy certainly is weird,” Picking up one of pastries she took a bite out of the delicacy.
